From November 14th to 17th, the "World Conference on Acoustic Emission - 2023 (WCAE-2023)" was grandly held in Chengdu.
The conference was hosted by the International Society for Acoustic Emissions (ISAE) and co-organized by the Non-destructive Testing Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and the China Special Equipment Testing Research Institute. 72 representatives from four countries including the United States, Russia, India and China attended the conference.
The conference invited famous experts in the field of acoustic emission from the United States, Russia, China and other countries to give special lectures. The conference received a total of 37 abstracts of academic papers, including 4 specially invited reports, 2 invited reports, 19 oral reports, and 12 poster reports. An acoustic emission instrument exhibition was held simultaneously during the conference. After the full text of the WCAE-2023 conference papers is reviewed by experts, Springer will officially publish the conference proceedings.
The 6th International Academic Conference WCAE-2023 was successfully held in Chengdu, providing an international exchange platform for the research and application promotion of acoustic emission technology. The successful holding of the conference further improved the international status and influence of my country's acoustic emission detection technology.
